All Russian visa applications in the UK must be submitted in one of the official Russian visa centres: Edinburgh, Manchester or London. This has to be done IN PERSON by every applicant as all applicants over the age of 12 are required to provide their fingerprints. The step-by-step instructions below will help you to obtain your Russian visa in the easiest possible way. We have been processing Russian visas for nearly 20 years, so you can rely on our practical knowledge. Generally, the success rate of obtaining the Russian visas using our services is nearly 100% and your application should run smoothly (unless you have been blacklisted by the Russian government or you are a spy!).

It's easy to apply, just follow these steps:

STEP 1 - Obtain the official "Visa Invitation Letter".

Whether you are going on business or as a tourist, in order to apply for a Russian visa, you will need to present the Russian Embassy with a mandatory document called "the letter of invitation" (also known as "confirmation/voucher/visa support documents").

✓ TOURIST VISAS: Invitations + tourist vouchers for tourist visas are easy and quick, it takes just a few minutes to order and is sent to you by email.

✓ BUSINESS / AIRCREW VISAS: For business / aircrew visas, a "business letter of invitation" from the Russian Federal Migration Service (FMS) is required - we will make an application on your behalf, and once the "invitation" is issued we will email it to you (for short visas), or we will courier you the original watermarked paper invitation (for 1-year multi-entry visas).

STEP 2 - Complete the Russian Embassy visa application form.

Once your "invitation letter" is ready, you will receive an email from us with the link to the official Russian Embassy Visa Application Form, and instructions on how to complete your application. The Russian Embassy has strict policies on the format and presentation of the visa application form, your application will be turned down if the form is incorrectly filled in or presented. If you ordered the "invitation letter" from us, we will check your application form free of charge to ensure that your visa application goes as smoothly as possible - simply email it to us for checking.

Once all of your application documents are ready, you will need to take your visa application (including the "letter of invitation") to the nearest Russian Visa Application centre and submit it at the same time as you submit your fingerprints. Currently, normal hours for submitting the fingerprints/application are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3pm (please check this with the appropriate visa centre). Please note, normally you do not have to collect your visa in person. Your passport/visa can be returned to you by post.
