Visa for Ukraine

You do not require a visa and invitation for entry to Ukraine and transit for USA, Canada, Japan, EU (except Republic of Bulgaria and Romania), Swiss, Liechtenstein, Andorra, Vatican, Monaco, Iceland, Norway, San Marino passport holders who may stay in Ukraine up to 90 days within a 180 day period. Unless you require to stay longer than 90 days or if you plan to work in Ukraine you will require a working visa, regardless the length of time. (If staying more than three months registration is required.)

The period of visa processing for nationals of the EU countries, Canada, Japan, Slovak Republic, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Turkey, United States of America is 7 days process (same day service available, please contact us for more information.)

All other passports takes 10 days for processing.

  • Business, Scientific Visa or Visa for representatives of Religious Mission.

      ** A photocopy of the visa of the country of destination or the travel tickets to non-visa countries should be enclosed. A transit visa is valid for 5 days in respect of each entry.


      Its easy to apply, just follow these steps:

      STEP 1

      Download, print and complete the following two forms:

        Ukrainian Consulate - Application form

        Ukrainian Authorisation Form

      Both must be completed or your application cannot be processed.

      STEP 2

      Once both forms are completed, please make sure that you have the following:

    1. • Passport - should be valid for at least one month after the intended date of departure from Ukraine.

    2. • Two passport photographs which must adhere to the following requirements:

    3. Photos should fit exactly in the box on the form, and be securely glued. Photos should be printed on normal photographic paper and should be
    4. 45 mm x 35 mm in size. Photos should show a close up of the applicant's head and shoulders so that their face covers 65-75% of the photo. Photos should be
    5. taken against an off-white, cream or light grey plain background so that the applicant's features are clearly distinguishable against the background. Photos
    6. must be of the applicant on their own, with no other people visible. It must show their full face, looking straight at the camera, with a neutral expression,
    7. with their mouth closed

    8. • Additional information required: Tourist - We require a tourist vouvher and official confirmation of hotel booking.

    9. • Additional information required: Business - Letter from UK employer; Official letter of invitation from company in Ukraine; Copy of registration certificate of a company or representative office in Ukraine.

    10. • Additional information required: Private - Your friend or relative in Ukraine must obtain an official invitation from the local OVIR (Office of Visas and Registration), and this certificate must be included with your visa application.

    11. • Pre-paid Special Delivery return addressed envelope - available from the post office.

    12. STEP 3

      Please make sure you have read the Terms and Conditions on the Authorisation Form.

      STEP 4

      Payment can be made by cheque or postal order made to Travel Direct (UK) Ltd and sent with your application. Or you can pay online using a credit or debit card. (If paying online please make payment before sending your application by choosing your required visa and processing time from below then pay at the checkout). Please note: the order number must be stated on the authorisation form before sending.
