HOW IT WORKS:

All Russian visa applications in the UK must be submitted in one of the Russian visa centres: Ednburgh, Manchester or London. In addition to visa application documents which we will guide you through, all applicants over the age of 12 are required to provide their fingerprints in person at the time of submitting the application. It usually takes between 1 and 5 working days for the Russian Embassy to issue your visa.

In brief, at the time of submitting your fingerprints you will need to present the following: a) your original valid passport, b) the Russian embassy visa application form (we can complete it for you), c) the "invitation letter/voucher" which is mandatory for all visa applications (this can be ordered below), d) a passport photo, e) any other supporting documents that the Russian consulate may request.

The total cost of the actual visa depends on the visa type. It will consist of the cost of the "invitation letter" and of the Russian Embassy visa fees which are different for every visa type (tourist, business, single-entry, multiple-entry etc.). As an example, a tourist "invitation letter" valid for a single-entry tourist visa can be ordered from us for £30 and the Embassy fees for a single-entry visa currently stand at £108.40 (5 working days processing) making a total of £138.40 for the actual visa. The Russian Embassy visa fees are payable at the time of the submission of your fingerprints.

The step-by-step instructions below will help you to obtain your Russian visa in the easiest possible way. We have been processing Russian visas for nearly 20 years, so you can rely on our practical knowledge. Generally, the success rate of obtaining the Russian visas using our services is nearly 100% and your application should run smoothly (unless you have been blacklisted by the Russian government or you are a spy!).

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY ADVICE ON THE RUSSIAN VISA APPLICATION PROCEDURE IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO OUR CUSTOMERS WHO ORDERED THE VISA "INVITATION LETTER" FROM US.

It's easy to apply, just follow these steps:

STEP 1 - Obtain the official "Visa Invitation Letter".

Whether you are going on business or as a tourist, in order to apply for a Russian visa, you will need to present a mandatory document called "the letter of invitation" (also known as "confirmation/voucher/visa support documents"). We can provide your tourist invitation letter by email on the same day when necessary. For business visas, a "business letter of invitation" from the Russian Federal Migration Service (FMS) is required - we will make an application on your behalf, and once the "invitation" is issued we will email it to you (for short visas), or we will courier you the original watermarked paper FMS document (for 1-year multiple-entry visas).

STEP 2 - Complete the Russian visa application form.

Once your "invitation letter" is ready, you will receive an email from us with the link to the official Russian Embassy Visa Application Form (the form is free of charge), and the step-by-step instructions on how to complete your application. The Russian Consulate has strict policies on the format and presentation of the visa application form, your application will be turned down if the form is incorrectly filled in or presented. If you ordered the "invitation letter" from us, we will check your application form free of charge to ensure that your visa application goes as smoothly as possible - simply email it to us for checking.

FINAL STEP

Once all of your application documents are ready, you will need to take your visa application (including the "letter of invitation") to the nearest Russian Visa Application centre and submit it at the same time as you submit your fingerprints. Currently, normal hours for submitting the fingerprints/application are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3pm (please check this with the appropriate visa centre). Please note, normally you do not have to collect your visa in person. Your passport/visa can be returned to you by post.
