We specialise in providing Russian visas for people travelling from the UK to Russia. We are committed to making things simple for you, so you can make the most of your trip.
Instructions for completing the Russian Consulate Visa Application form:
• Once opened, click on 'Create Online Visa Application/s' to start the application process. If a system error message appears when this window
opens, please click 'home' on the top right hand corner and this will refresh the page.
1. Where would you like to submit your Visa Application/s? - Select 'Russian visa application centre Edinburgh'.*
2. Should you decide to Post (Mail)/Courier your application/s to us, select the appropriate services that you will use i.e. Royal Mail. - Select 'In person
at the application centre'.*
3. How would you like your processed application returned to you? - Select 'Collect in person from Application Centre'.*
* Please note, you do not have to submit or collect from the application centre. This is done by us on your behalf.
4. How would you like your application to be processed? - Select 'Urgent' if applying for any of our express services, (tourist 3 days processing, business
single/double entry 5 or 7 days processing and business multiple entry 12 working days processing) or 'Normal' if applying for standard service(s)', and
ignore the processing days stated.
5. Put our email address: info@travel-direct.com.
• Individual Information Part A - Complete all your information as prompted, apart from:
- Section 'Visit Details', Question 'Russian Institution or organisation to be visited': If we are providing your tourist invitation/support documents please
state 'Rostourism 2132'.
- Section 'Visit Details', Question 'Name, address and phone number of person or hotel in Russia that you plan to stay with': Please put your hotel details
here. If you do not intend on staying in a hotel please contact us before submitting your form.
• Individual Information Part B - Complete all your information as prompted, apart from:
- Section 'Additional Information', If you tick yes to any of the tip boxes on the first page, please contact us before submitting your application.
- Section 'Additional Information', state your UK work/study address; if self-employed please use the address from which you operate (can be your home
address); if retired please state "retired".
• When it states the fee applicable, please ignore. These costs are included in our fees.
• When all information is complete, print the form and attach your photograph.

Please read Carefully Before Sending Your Application
• If any individuals under the age of 18 who are travelling without their parents need to provide copies of both parents passports, copy of the child's birth certificate and provide a letter of permission signed by both parents upon application • Visas cannot be applied for more than three months in advance of the entry date. • If you were born in Russia or the USSR please contact us before applying for your visa. • If you are flying directly to Kazan, Samara, Nijnyi Novgorod, South-West Russia, Rostov-On-Don, Sochi, or Krasnodar please call us before sending your application. • If you are applying for a business visa, and your birthplace was anywhere outside of the UK, European Union, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, please contact us before sending your application.
STEP 2
Once both forms are completed, please make sure that you also send the following:
• Passport - Original passport required (must have at least two blank adjacent pages and be valid for at least 6 months from the expiry date of the visa)
• One passport photograph, securely glued to the application form.
• Pre-paid Special Delivery return addressed envelope - available from the post office. Please note: Pre-franked envelopes are not accepted by the Post Office on return.
• For business visas a covering letter of introduction on company headed paper from the company you are going on behalf of, (not the inviting Russian company), confirming the applicants position within the company and outline travel/business intentions within Russia. Please note, if you are choosing the 5 (single or double entry) or the 12 (multi entry) working days processing: You are also required to provide, on a blank sheet of paper; the name and address of your hotel / accommodation and the name, address and telephone number of the company due to visit in Russia.

Payment
Payment can be made online (below), by cheque or postal order made payable to Travel Direct (UK) Ltd. Please note: when paying online your order number must be stated on the authorisation form before sending.
