It’s easy to apply, just follow these steps:
STEP 1
Download, print and complete the following forms, All fields must be completed, otherwise your application can be refused:
* Ensure the form is filled in BLOCK CAPITALS and you attach a passport size photograph
* The first few sections are self explanatory
* If any section is not relevant to you, put N/A or ‘not applicable’ - do not leave
it blank as your application could be returned to you as incomplete
• Section 7: Put British - if you put English/Irish/Scottish or Welsh your application could be returned to you.
• Section 9: Whether your partner is travelling with you or not you will still need to fill this section in.
• Section 11: Put your job title and position i.e. office administration -
receptionist or if you are at college/university put student and what you are
studying.
• Section 12: Your employers address and contact details or college/university details
• Section 13: Type of passport: is ordinary but if you are a member of the Armed Forces tick the appropriate box Number:
passport number at the top of information page, date of issue: on information
page of passport, issued by: issuing authority, usually UKPA (UK Passport
Authority) valid till: expiry date of passport (your passport must have at least
6 months validation on your return from Kazakhstan)
• Section 17: Tourism or Business
• Section 18: Although you do not require a letter of invitation, you can put the Hotel’s name where you are staying as you need to supply an address
or if
your travel is being organised for you put the details of the travel agency
dealing with your visit
• Section 19: Add all the places you may be visiting during your stay.
• Section 20: If you have already booked your flights and know your place of entry, this can be added here.
• Section 21: A hotel/hostel or other address is needed.
• Section 22: Yourself
• Section 23: If you don’t have insurance your application will returned to you. Enter the policy number and the company details of who issued the
policy.
• Section 24: We advise that you extend the period of requested visa by a day or two just to give you extra time in case of problems i.e. you loose your
passport, miss your flight or that you take ill.
• Section 25: Single entry is required if entering hte once but if you are visiting another country
and then returning to Kazakhstan for the return leg of your journey you will
need 2 entries. Please call us on 0131 226 8170 if you require this,
as this is a different price and additional information is required.
• Section 26: Enter details of any children travelling with you (under 16). They will need their own passport and the same restrictions apply. In addition
to a child’s application you must also submit a copy of the parent’s passports, a copy of the child’s birth certificate and if only one parent is
travelling
with the child, a letter from the other parent stating non-objection to
the child’s other parent taking child to Kazakhstan.
• Don’t forget to sign and date the declaration at the bottom.
STEP 2
Once both forms are completed, please make sure that you have the following:
• Passport - Original passport required (must have at least two blank adjacent pages and be valid for at least 6 months from the expiry date of the visa)
• One passport photograph, securely glued to the application form.
• For business visas - a covering letter of introduction on company headed paper from the UK based company you are going on behalf of, confirming the applicants position within the company and outline travel/business intentions within Kazakhstan. With regards to the business invitation - we provide the business invitation from Kazakhstan as part of our service.
• Pre-paid Special Delivery return addressed envelope - available from the post office. Please note: Pre-franked envelopes are not accepted by the Post Office on return.
• When applying for Children under 16 years old - A copy of parents passports, a copy of the child’s birth certificate and a letter from the child's parents stating non-objection to the child's other parent taking him or her to Kazakhstan. (Please contact us for child's prices).
STEP 3
Payment
Payment can be made online (by clicking on the link below), by cheque or postal order made payable to Travel Direct (UK) Ltd. Please note: when paying online your order number must be stated on the authorisation form before sending.
